Immi’s practice focuses exclusively on Canadian immigration matters.
She is a Certified Specialist in Citizenship & Immigration Law (Law Society of Ontario) and provides her expertise and strategic advice in all areas of Canadian Immigration law to business across industries and individuals.
She assists clients with work permits, skilled and economic permanent residence, study permits, spousal sponsorship, parent sponsorship, citizenship and inadmissibility matters. Immi worked in East Africa at the Zanzibar Legal Services Centre in a DFAIT Professional Internship Program. She is a former co-chair of the South Asian Legal Clinic Ontario (SALCO) and board member of the South Asian Women’s Centre. She also served on the Board of Directors of Stonegate Community Health Centre in Toronto. Immi completed a B.A. in Honours Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. Immi has an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario and is licensed to practice law in Ontario, Canada.
