Junior Real Estate Assistant

Our firm has an immediate opening for a Junior Real Estate Assistant. This versatile position will provide flexible administrative support across various areas within the Real Estate Department, including but not limited to housing development projects. We are looking for an eager candidate who wants to learn and grow and isn’t afraid to ask questions. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with drafting and amending legal documentation and correspondence through general instruction;
  • Prepare all accounting-related forms;
  • Maintain files/records system;
  • Completing closing reports.
  • Handle administrative details, including accounting, opening and closing files, docketing, billing, etc.;
  • Perform routine clerical and general office duties as required; and
  • Providing backup coverage for others.

Qualifications:

  • 1- 3 years experience at a law firm in an administrative capacity particularly in Real Estate.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Knowledge of LawyerDoneDeal and Teraview is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrates good judgement and is comfortable seeking advice and guidance from other team members when necessary.
  • Possesses intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, contacts, calendar).
