Provincial Offences Act Charges
The Provincial Offences Act sets out the specialized procedural steps by which all regulatory offences are prosecuted in Ontario. Regulatory offences include charges laid under provincial legislation, including the Environmental Protection Act, the Ontario Water Resources Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Nutrient Management Act, the Pesticides Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act, 2002.
