Richard practices in the Banking and Financial Services Group and the Commercial Real Estate Group. His practice focuses mainly on financing, loan restructuring and enforcement. He also represents those who buy and sell real estate for either commercial or residential purposes. His clients include banks, trust companies, private lenders, insurance companies and both public and private developers. Richard has been involved in financings in a wide variety of industries such as self-storage facilities, steel and scrap metal recycling, automotive parts manufacturing, plastics, health services, food processing and packaging, communications, housing construction and land servicing. His experience also extends to cross-border financings involving security in the United States and across Canada. Richard is practical and results-oriented and never loses sight of which issues are paramount and in his clients' best interests.
