Joshua recently graduated from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. He holds a B.A. from York University and a Master’s of Arts in History from McMaster University, where he wrote his thesis on the intersection between discrimination and sport in Canadian history.
During his time at Queen’s Law, Joshua was the co-president of the Jewish Law Students Association, and coordinated a significant fundraising event with the Environmental Law Club. In his second year of law school, Joshua led weekly tutorials for undergraduate students as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Introduction to Canadian Law class at Queen’s University. He was also placed with the Kingston Family Court, as a student worker for the judges of the court.
Before attending law school, Joshua worked as a part-time high school teacher while obtaining his Master’s degree. He also spent a summer working for a Toronto-based technology start-up company, Millennial Esports Corp.
In his free time, Joshua likes to go on walks with his dog, play squash, and go on road trips across North America to attend sporting events.
