Colleen practises exclusively in Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology (IT) law and her clients include start-ups to multinational corporations in every industry sector.

As a registered trade-market agent, Colleen works collaboratively with her clients to help them structure complex IP transactions; maximize and protect their IP portfolios; and develop international strategies, including licensing and distribution arrangements, for revenue generation.

As the traditional concepts of intellectual property continue to evolve, clients turn to her for advice in respect of social media, domain names, CASL, advertising, contests and branding. Colleen also litigates IP disputes before the Courts.

Colleen is recognized as a leader in intellectual property law and has written extensively in this area. She is Co-chair of the firm’s Business Development Committee and is the Past-President of the Society of Sharing, a volunteer organization dedicated to serving seniors and adults with disabilities in the Toronto community.
