Tamar completed her JD at Osgoode Hall Law.
Currently, Tamar volunteers as a member on the Young Lawyers Leadership Committee for the United Jewish Appeal. In addition, Tamar is a member of the Advocates' Society.
In her time at Osgoode, Tamar participated in the Mediation Intensive Program, earning her St Stephens Mediation Accreditation. This program operates a clinic wherein students facilitate mediations in small claims court and for disputes among members of the Jane/Finch community. In addition, Tamar served as president of the Mental Health Law Association, organizing a speaker series to inform students about legal work representing hospitals, psychiatrists, and patients.
Before entering law school, Tamar earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Development and Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. She graduated with distinction and made the Dean’s Honor List each year of her program.
Upon graduation and in the summer after her first year of law school, she worked as a student for a firm that practiced estates, real estate and family law.
Outside of her passion for law, Tamar seeks opportunities for adventure, most recently trekking the Everest Circuit in Nepal.
