Petar recently completed his JD at Queen’s University. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto, where he majored in History and minored in Political Science and French, graduating with High Distinction.
During his second and third year of law school, Petar worked as an Upper Year Tutor for first year law students. He was also a volunteer editor with the Queen’s Law Journal and achieved an award for academic excellence in the course “Idea of Antidiscrimination”. Petar performed as lead guitarist in three bands at “Lawlapalooza”, an annual charity concert put on by law students at Queen’s University.
Prior to law school, Petar interned in the Canadian Embassy in Vienna, as a part of Canada’s Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe. He also worked as an Intake and Client Services Coordinator with the Canadian Red Cross in Toronto and spent two summers as a Policy and Program Assistant with the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry.
Petar is fluent in Serbian and French. In his spare time Petar enjoys playing music and soccer with his friends, reading, and skiing.
